Nominations for the 2009-2010 AIMA Board will be accepted at the next AIMA general membership meeting on Tuesday, April 14 at 7 p.m. in the Arundel High School Band Room. AIMA Bylaws indicate that any adult member of AIMA who meets voting eligibility requirements for the 2008-2009 season can be nominated for office. There are five board positions (president, vice president, secretary, treasurer and publicist). AIMA president Mitch Wightman and AIMA Vice President Kim Rosekrans are parents of graduating seniors and are not likely seeking board positions next year. Parents, please consider stepping up into one of these important roles. It really is a team effort and the band program depends upon your willing support to thrive. Thanks!
